Attributed to Survival and Preparedness Expert, Jim Phillips

It’s a fact that Preppers love lists, it’s how we organize and stay focused.  I adapted these all important needs lists from preparedness expert, Jim Phillips.  Jim’s philosophy centers primarily on survival psychology and “mind-set” rather than “stuff.”

Immediate Needs

  • Clothing / Shelter
  • Water
  • Sanitation
  • Special Needs
    • Medications, Eye Glasses, Babies & Children, Pets

Permanent Provisions (Long-Term)

  • Clothing / Shelter
  • Water
  • Sanitation
  • Nutrition  (you will require better nutrition in a survival situation than you need now)
  • Wellness:  Rest & Recreation  (absolute necessity to rest and rehab)
  • Tools
  • Supplies

“The Law of Stuff”

  • Have it before you need it.
  • Have it with you when you need it.
  • You must be able to use it if you need it.
  • Must be absolutely best quality.
